2Type your email address and tap “Send me a code”.
3Open your email. You'll get a 6-digit code from us.
4Type the 6 numbers into the box on the site. That's it — no password to remember.
No email? Check your Junk or Spam folder. The code works for 10 minutes; you can ask for a new one.
Checking your phone number
1We text a one-time code to your phone the first time you post. It keeps fake sales off the map.
2Type your phone number and tap “Send code”.
3Type the code from the text message into the box.
Your phone number is never shown to anyone.
Finding sales
Finding sales on the map
1Each red pin on the map is a sale. Tap a pin to see what they're selling.
2The list under the map shows the same sales. Scroll down to see them all.
3Looking for something? Type it in the search box — for example “crib” or “tools”.
4Use two fingers to zoom in on the map, or the + and − buttons.
Planning your Saturday trip
1Tap “+ Route” on each sale you want to visit.
2Tap “My route” at the top of the list.
3Type where you're starting from (your home address) and pick it from the list that pops up.
4Tap “Build my route”. We put your stops in the shortest order.
5Choose who's navigating: your Maps app (your phone talks), or a Navigator (a passenger reads the map).
Tap “Print the map” in Navigator for a paper map with every stop on it.
Navigator mode (reading the map together)
1Hand the tablet to your passenger. They're the navigator.
2The red dotted line shows the way to the next sale.
3The navigator reads the street names and tells the driver: “two more streets, then turn left.”
4When you arrive, tap the sale's number in the list. The line moves to the next sale.
5Tapped it by mistake? Tap the number again to undo.
Posting your sale
Putting your sale on the map
1Tap the red “Post a sale” button at the top.
2Fill in the form from top to bottom. Each part has a little “i” if you'd like help.
3Tap “Preview my sale” at the bottom. Nothing is charged yet.
4Look it over. Tap “Edit” to fix anything.
5Tap “Post it free” or “Pay by card” to put it on the map.
Changed your mind? Your draft waits in your account for 14 days, then clears itself.
What kind of sale?
1Tap the word that best fits: Yard sale, Moving sale, Estate sale, and so on.
2Not sure? Pick “Yard sale”. You can't go wrong.
Writing a headline
1This is the big line shoppers see first.
2Name your best items: “Moving sale — tools, oak dresser, kids' toys”.
3Keep it short. One line is perfect.
Listing what you're selling
1Type your items with a comma between them: dishes, lamp, fishing rods, books.
2Or tap “🎙 Speak your list” under the box and just say them. The button turns green while it listens, and what it hears shows in thin grey in the box. Press Enter or tap the button again to keep it. If the button turns red, your browser has blocked the microphone.
3Shoppers search these words, so name the things people look for.
You don't need prices here — just the things.
Categories
1We tick these for you from your list.
2Tap a word to turn it on or off. Black means it's on.
Where's the sale?
1Most people pick “At my home” — your address is already filled in.
2Selling somewhere else? Tap “Somewhere else” and start typing the address.
3Pick the right address from the list that pops up. That's how your pin lands in the right spot.
The address is shown on the map so shoppers can find you.
Date and times
1Tap the date and pick the day of your sale.
2Tap “Starts” and “Ends” to set your hours, for example 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Early birds
1Early birds are shoppers who come before your start time.
2Tick the box if that's fine with you. Leave it empty if you'd rather they waited.
Adding photos
1Tap “Add photos”. Pick pictures from your phone or computer.
2The first photo is the big one shoppers see. Choose your best.
3Tap the ✕ on a photo to remove it.
Photos are optional, but sales with photos get more visitors. Keep faces and licence plates out.
Posting and paying
1This page shows your sale exactly as shoppers will see it.
2If it says “Free”, tap “Post it free” and you're done.
3Otherwise tap “Pay by card”. You'll go to a secure payment page (Stripe), then come right back.
4Want more time? Close this page. Your draft is saved in your account.
We never see your card number. Payment is handled by Stripe for All Spark Enterprises Ltd.
Last Call (leftovers after your sale)
1After your sale, list the things that didn't sell, each with a photo and a price.
2Shoppers message you on the site and pick up at your place.
3Everything clears itself Friday at midnight.
Never send money or codes to anyone before you meet. Buyers pay at pickup.
Doing it with neighbours
Organizing a street sale with your neighbours
1Tap “Start a street sale” and give it a name, a date and your street.
2Tap “Send the invitation”. Neighbours who signed up get an email from you.
3Tap “Make my flyer” to print flyers for neighbours who aren't online.
4As neighbours say “I'm in”, they appear on your list with their email.
5When you have enough homes, tap “Book” to put them all on the map at once.
Your account
Choosing your emails and texts
1Tick a box to get that email. Untick it to stop.
2Changes save by themselves — there's no Save button.
3Text alerts only tell you when someone messages you. Nothing else.
Selling as a business
1Fill in your business details. The top part is shown to shoppers; the bottom part stays private.
2Pay for each sale ($19.99), or pick a monthly plan if you hold sales often.
3Tap “Post a sale”, fill in the form, preview it, then pay.
